As a frequent writer and commentator on social and community issues, Neil’s writing has appeared in numerous publications.

  • Peggy joined LogicalOutcomes as Office Manager in June 2020. Her entrepreneurial expertise carries into the day-to-day management of administrative and financial matters at LogicalOutcomes. Peggy is happy to be contributing to an organization whose focus is to help other mission-driven organizations around the world.

  • Sara wears many hats, performing in roles including project owner, project manager, researcher and analyst. Since 2015 under her leadership, LogicalOutcomes has supported 15+ non-profits and international development organizations pilot, adopt, and/or enhance their DHIS2 system for MEAL initiatives. From 2016-2021 Sara was the Executive Director of LogicalOutcomes, overseeing steady growth in personnel, projects, and revenue. Sara brings 20+ years' experience in management (retail, administration, event planning, non-profit governance, and communications), with a B.A. in International Development from the University of Guelph.

  • Sophie is an evaluator and project manager with 15 years of experience in research and evaluation with non-profit organizations. One of her greatest joys in life is working with organizations to develop streamlined evaluation processes that use accessible tools to produce useful insights. At LogicalOutcomes, Sophie conducts evaluations, facilitates training in evaluation, and designs and manages systems that support non-profits to capture their impact and improve their effectiveness.

Staff and Associates

  • Betania designs, analyses and manages the development and implementation of different IT solutions centered on final users and process improvement. She has 20+ years of experience in UX design, Business Analysis, Project Management, and Product Management. She is PMP certified and has a master's science degree in Health Information Management.

  • Dr. Evelyn Amponsah is a community development practitioner and researcher with over 15 years of experience in facilitating social change through grassroots activism and institutional reform. Holding a doctorate in Social and Political Thought from York University, she brings an interdisciplinary approach to understanding the intersections of race, power, and social policy. Her expertise in community-centered research and facilitation has been demonstrated through leadership roles including founding the Centre for Advancing the Interests of Black People at Toronto Community Housing and serving as Senior Training and Development Consultant with the City of Toronto's Confronting Anti-Black Racism Unit. Evelyn specializes in asset-based community development, working collaboratively with organizations to build capacity and create systemic change. Her facilitation approach emphasizes decolonial practices and meaningful community engagement, particularly in addressing challenges facing Black communities in housing, justice, and education systems.

  • Georgi has been consulting to LogicalOutcomes for almost 10 years, specializing in capturing clients' requirements and translating their data entry and reporting needs into DHIS2 language. His extensive experience with DHIS2, combined with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, allows him to address almost any non-standard or complex needs of DHIS2 users. Georgi possesses expertise in metadata and legacy data analysis and standardization, DHIS2 data entry forms configuration, and the construction of complex indicators and reports. Georgi is also a partner in a finance-related consulting business, leveraging his experience in accounting and auditing. Georgi is a Certified Internal Auditor.

  • With a PhD in Geographic Information Systems and over 8 years of consulting experience at LogicalOutcomes, Kristiyan specializes in tailoring the robust DHIS2 platform to meet diverse client needs across the health, environment, and education sectors. His strengths lie in capturing requirements, configuring DHIS2 systems, integrating GIS capabilities, streamlining reporting processes, and providing comprehensive training. Kristiyan's unique blend of scientific research acumen, data management proficiency, and technical implementation expertise allows him to deliver impactful, data-driven solutions to international development organizations worldwide.

  • Medha is an emerging evaluator with extensive experience conducting research with nonprofits. Her training in economics, psychology, and education has equipped her with strong quantitative and qualitative research skills. Medha is passionate about initiatives that promote holistic youth development and community well-being. At LogicalOutcomes, her roles include research, project management, and developing AI tools to help nonprofits conduct effective evaluations.

  • Michee is an emerging evaluator with experience evaluating healthcare innovations aimed at transformative change on the provincial and national level. She has experience with mixed methods research, health care evaluation, systematic reviews, grant writing and project management. With a passion towards work that advances health equity and access to healthcare, Michee has played a key role in the planning and implementation of evaluations within primary care. She is passionate about work that advances health equity and access to healthcare. Michee’s work with LogicalOutcomes began in 2023, as part of the developmental evaluation team supporting the College of Family Physicians of Canada and the Canadian Health Workforce Network’s Team Primary Care initiative (a $48 million dollar, pan-Canadian project).

  • Paul has over 10 years of experience as an evaluation consultant and coach, and is a Credentialed Evaluator. His specialties include impact measurement, developmental evaluation, and evaluating efforts to build sustainable livelihoods. Paul uses a principles-focused, asset-oriented, and equitable approach to evaluating social programs.

  • Scott is a Credentialed Evaluator with expertise in evaluation, performance measurement, as well as policy and program development. With more than a decade of experience supporting organizations to make evidence-informed decisions, Scott delivers tailored solutions to meet his clients’ needs and generate useful insights and practical recommendations.  Scott is a versatile evaluator comfortable applying a broad range of evaluation approaches from traditional formative and summative evaluations to more recent approaches including developmental, transformative, rights-based and principles-focused evaluations.

  • Shudipta (Shudy) is an experienced evaluation specialist with over six years of expertise in leading and supporting a wide range of evaluation and performance measurement projects. Her work spans various sectors, including community and grassroots organizations, non-profits, and government, with notable projects involving the City of Toronto, YouthREX, and the Wellesley Institute.

    Holding a Master of Public Health, Shudy applies a strong systems thinking approach and intersectional lens to her evaluations, in order to understand and assess how programs, projects, and policies function within complex, multi-dimensional landscapes. She is particularly passionate about equity, advocacy, and social justice, focusing on unpacking and evaluating systems and frameworks that drive progress in these areas. Shudy specializes in utilizing community-based, arts-based and participatory action research, and applying strengths-based approaches, health-in-all-policies frameworks, and harm reduction strategies.

  • Dr. Gillian Kerr is a co-founder of LogicalOutcomes and an evaluator and organizational psychologist for over 30 years. She now provides research, systems analysis and evaluation support for LogicalOutcomes projects.

  • Martha is an evaluation specialist at LogicalOutcomes. She has worked globally, with a commitment to conducting evaluations that make a positive difference. She has been recognized for her contribution to evaluation in Canada, sits on the CES credentialing board and is a CES Fellow.

Board of Directors

  • Dolores has over 25 years of experience in the social impact and international development sector. She has devised and delivered nationally recognized social impact models across Africa and engaged government ministries securing the replication of approaches and programs widely throughout the region. She holds a master’s degree in development studies from the University of Manchester, UK, as well as Executive Education Certificates from Harvard University, USA, and is currently pursuing a PhD at the University College of London. Motivated by social transformation, culturally relevant solutions to global development and social justice, Dolores brings her extensive experience working in policy, program design and scaling social innovations to the team.

  • Rolene is a qualified research and evaluation professional with over eighteen years' experience supporting strategic planning processes; informing institutional and public-sector policy initiatives within NGOs, IGOs, government departments and policy teams in Canada, the United States, Africa, Asia, Middle East, the Pacific and the Caribbean. Rolene’s key skills and experience include: Policy Research; Program and Institutional Evaluation; Strategic Planning; Program Development, Grant Writing; M&E System Development; and Capacity Building. She also brings specific knowledge and experience of health, education and rule of law development programming. Rolene is currently based in Ottawa, where she is completing her doctoral study in Policy and Public Administration.

  • Salima Shariff, MSc, BSc(H) is a skilled design strategist with experience working in the health, social, and technology sectors. She has worked both within and across sectors to address issues related to experience design, gaps in service, and equity. Salima has extensive experience leading teams through 2–3 month design thinking and visioning exercises that synthesize qualitative research, quantitative data, industry comparisons, systems analysis, process mapping, and workshops into aspirational north stars and actionable delivery roadmaps. She holds a Master’s in the evaluation of complex social interventions from Oxford University.
